The Hellenic Financial Stability Fund (HFSF) announces that the Ministry of Finance has concluded the procedure for the replacement of the resigned HFSF Chief Executive Officer (CEO). The new CEO of the HFSF is Mr. Aristides Xenofos with mandate until June 30th, 2017.
Mr. Xenofos has perennial experience in the banking sector and in capital markets having
served as senior executive in a number of Asset Management Companies in Greece and
Central & South East Europe, as well as an Executive Member in committees in private Greek
Banks in Greece and abroad.
In particular, he has served as Deputy General Manager at Alpha Asset MFMC and CEO at
Eurobank Asset MFMC in Greece. In international level he has served as President at
Eurobank FMC SA in Luxembourg and at EFG Eurobank MFMC SAI SA in Romania
contributing decisively in establishing and developing the institutional asset management in
the respective markets and enhancing the distribution of investment products through
different banking and insurance channels.
He has also served as member in a number of Executive Committees at Eurobank Ergasias SA
in Greece and in countries of Central & South East Europe where Eurobank was present as
well as Chairman at the Hellenic Fund and Asset Management Association (HFAMA) and
member of the Board of Directors at Athens Stock Exchange.
